MRO Insider, founded by Andy Mixon, is a SaaS company that aims to connect service providers to various sectors of business aviation. Users will be able to send out requests for their desired service and connect with providers within a 300-mile radius.
How It Works
There are two account types on MRO Insider—operators and providers. The operators can send out RFQs that will then notify the providers in the areas. These providers will then be able to submit a quote.
MRO Insider is built on a subscription model with five different tiered options as follows:
- Aircraft Operators Basic – $0 per month
- Aircraft Operators Premium – $499 per tail / per year
- Providers Basic – $199 per month
- Providers Premium – starting at $599
- FBO Pricing – $25 per movement
The Benefits
So what makes MRO Insider better than the alternative? With MRO Insider you can collect numerous quotes quickly, without all the leg work usually required. This takes a lot of the hassle out of the process of connecting with maintenance providers and also gives you multiple quotes at once that you can compare.
Providers on the platform are given a profile designed to improve transparency with reviews and photos.
The Goal
MRO Insider’s mission is to open up the market for independent maintenance providers while also improving the process of seeking maintenance for operators. There’s less time spent dealing with salespeople and more quotes are able to be collected more quickly.
